I noticed a lot of those preppers on tv have guns, so what would they do once they ran out of bullets? I’m pretty sure by time they did there wouldn’t be any left at stores.

Simple. Preps. Have reloading and dies also bullet making devices to make there own bullets. I’ve known how to make my own bullets by smelting lead into bullets since I was 5 years old. Taught by my father.
It’s a lost art, but only some known this.
